Motek/Bondexpo 2019: Arena of the Future!

There's just one month to go before the industry comes together at the 38th Motek international trade fair for automation in production and assembly. Together with the 13th Bondexpo – the international trade fair for bonding technology – it provides a unique overview of the latest information and process-oriented industrial manufacturing. The focus is on the Arena of Integration (AoI) theme park where expert visitors will see demonstrations of how systems, processes and components can be integrated in ways that are ready for deployment in daily industrial practice.

Motek’s motto, “Smart Solutions for Production and Assembly”, underscores the fact that digitalisation and integration are no longer simply a vision in industrial practice. This is particularly apparent and tangible in the Arena of Integration (AoI) theme park. "Connectivity" is not just a buzzword, it's being applied in practice: use cases presented in the integrative theme park at the centre of hall 6 will provide expert visitors with concrete answers to current questions regarding intelligent production and process sequences in conjunction with digital applications.

Arena of Integration: Automation Intelligence to GO!

The trade fair promoter Schall is organising the special show together with its collaborative partner Mechatronics Network of Baden-Württemberg and around 30 exhibitors; in combination with the spectrum of offerings exhibited at Motek and Bondexpo, the trade fair event, taking place from 7 to 10 October in Stuttgart, provides its professional audience with an internationally unique, comprehensive presentation covering all aspects of the value creation chains in modern production and assembly automation.

Practical applications and user benefits at the centre

Motek is the traditional trade fair platform for the rapidly changing process automation sector. Exhibitors present customers and users with the latest currently deployable and future-proof solutions for deployment in industrial production. At the core of the portfolio of products and services at the internationally recognised Motek information, communication and business platform are ultra-modern and now digitalised components, assemblies, subsystems and complete systems for automated production and assembly. For continuously automated production with volume flexibility now and in the future, Motek showcases complete networked solutions in technology and communication with a focus on practical applications in industry. In addition, the concurrent Bondexpo trade fair highlights detailed system solutions for bonding and joining components and assemblies in pre-assembly and final assembly.

Even more thematic systematisation, even more international representation

As in previous years, a total of almost 1,000 exhibitors are expected to attend the two traditional trade fairs – including from abroad. Exhibitors from 30 countries will demonstrate how they support production and assembly automation; after Germany, the majority of exhibitors come from Italy, Switzerland, Taiwan, China and France. More than 130 exhibitors from the field of joining technology alone will be represented; a special joining technology exhibition guide covering screwing technology, joining technology in use, press fitting and bonding, riveting technology, soldering and welding technology as well as the area of adhesion, sealing, casting and dosing will again be published. The exhibition organiser is also preparing a special show guide for assembly system manufacturers and robot system integrators; it lists over 75 providers of turnkey assembly systems and more than 125 robot system integrators.

Practical and feasible: Smart Solutions for Production and Assembly

Motek mirrors the dynamically changing world of industrial production technology. In an atmosphere that reflects practical reality, professional visitors will find answers to the questions that concern them in becoming a smart factory. The fair offers professional industry visitors an unrivalled insight into how modern manufacturing processes should be shaped as part of the progressive and ongoing digitalisation of automation in order to remain efficient, profitable and competitive. The pragmatic approach to the dual Motek/Bondexpo trade fares, together with the AoI, will once again be an unmissable must-attend diary date for all constructors, users and production managers looking for practical solutions for modern industrial production and assembly automation.
