The Blechexpo/Schweisstec industry highlight is just around the corner: the 14th Blechexpo and the 7th Schweisstec will present all aspects of sheet metal, pipe and profile processing in Stuttgart from the 5th through the 8th of November, 2019. The trade fair duo will break several records this year: roughly 1500 exhibitors will come to Stuttgart for the event, occupied floor space has increased by 15% and exhibitor internationalism is also on the rise.
The Blechexpo/Schweisstec trade fair duo with its comprehensive product and service offerings covering all aspects of thermal and mechanical processing of sheet metal, pipe and profiles, as well as welding, joining and fastening technology, is attracting experts to Stuttgart from all over the world, because the two complementarity industry events have proven their outstanding, unique process competence as a global platform.
Focus on Sheet Metal Processing – which is Also Getting Smart
Sheet metal processing is a key issue in manufacturing, especially in the fields of machinery and equipment production, steelwork, lightweight metal construction, the automotive industry and electrical engineering. Expert visitors will find solutions and systems covering all of their individual manufacturing requirements. Pre and final processing, as well as module assembly and surface finishing for sensitive, visible components are just as well represented as handling and quality assurance. Precision cutting, stamping and forming of steel, aluminium and non-ferrous sheet metal are also showcased at Blechexpo/Schweisstec. Not least of all, automation and digitalisation have found their way into sheet metal processing and joining technology as well, and are dealt with by the exhibitors.
Trade Fair Duo with New Dimensions – Nine Fully Occupied Halls
More exhibitors, more floor space, more internationalism: the 15% increase in floor space vis-à-vis 2017 corresponds to the addition of roughly 1¼ exhibition halls. The number of bookings and reservations received from outside of Germany has even doubled in comparison with 2017. The reason for this boom is the strictly practice-oriented, tried and tested concept of the trade fair duo.
International Expert Meet – Unique Know-How Platform
In cooperation with the trade fair promoters, stahlnews.de GmbH & Co. KG will organise the 4th Stahlnews Expert Meet on the evening of the first day of the trade fair on 5 November 2019 beginning at 6:15 p.m., in order to promote a transfer of knowledge. It will be held in keeping with the motto: “The Steel Industry in Times of Globalisation and Industry 4.0”. Internationally recognised industry insiders will hold presentations. Further representatives of renowned companies will hold brief presentations on the following day at the Blechexpo Forum. ZVEI’s Schweisstec Day will take place on the 7th of November, 2019.
